You might have lost the small ball bearing that sits in the slave cylinder diaphragm and contacts the pushrod. Stock clutch I assume. WebUnless you have misunderstood the meaning of disengage, there is nothing wrong here. With the cable disconnected, the clutch will be engaged. Pulling the clutch lever (and therefore the pulling on the cable) is what disengages the clutch. So, of course the clutch won't disengage when the cable is disconnected.
