In this post, we’ll look at how the underlying investment theses for each asset have rapidly evolved this year. Prior to 2024, some market participants viewed Bitcoin as a form of digital gold, sharing many of the same use cases, such as being a store of value. WebAccessibility is the primary advantage of cryptocurrency as a safe-haven asset. Unlike gold, which necessitates physical ownership and custody, cryptocurrencies can be stored and traded online with relative ease. Crypto is less susceptible to market volatility due to its decentralized nature.
