WebSep 19, 2012 · It seems geany can not create (or maybe access) it's configuration directory (should be ~/.geany or something in ~/.config), see if you can find anything there. If the directory already exists, you may have to edit it's permission, if not, you can try creating it (though I am not sure which would be the right place for it). In the 4.2 distro the geany_run_script.sh doesn't execute. It fails with a "permission denied" I know how to make a script execute.
